Living in Sarrià–Sant GervasiDistrict guide for renters
District
Sarrià–Sant Gervasi climbs from Diagonal towards Collserola park. It is green, quiet and one of the most expensive parts of the city, with many international schools.
FGC trains (Sarrià, Bonanova, Sant Gervasi and more) are the main link to the centre; the metro only touches its edges. Streets are steep in the upper part, so check the exact location if you will walk a lot.
City
Barcelona packs ten districts into a compact, walkable city between the sea and Collserola hills. Metro, buses, trams and FGC trains reach almost everywhere within 30 minutes.
Medium-term furnished rentals (1–11 months) are common for people relocating; long-term unfurnished leases follow Spain's tenancy law (LAU). Expect a deposit of one or two months and agency fees paid by the landlord.
